New international students who have been admitted to the University have the option to live in AU housing accommodations for their first semester. Housing is an optional service provided for international students.
Students admitted should apply for housing at least 1 month prior to their start of their academic semester.
Housing Options
When moving in with other students you may have two or three roommates, depending on the apartment units. Accommodations available in student roommate situations cover a wide range of apartments and locations.
Bayshore Apartment Housing
The Bayshore Shared Apartments are conveniently located within walking distance to our campus, also closed to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and all that Biscayne Bay has to offer. The surrounding streets are lively and offer a host of tourist attractions, including local bars, the Marina and even American Airlines Arena. Apartments are usually with three rooms where each room would be shared with a roommate.
Some amenities included:
Outdoor swimming pool, Tv, wifi, cleaning service, bed linen and towels and laundry facilies.
